Soundmaster, the renowned HiFi manufacturer, has not skimped on the technical equipment, as the Internet Radio with WLAN and LAN module (Frontier Silicon Module) already delivers well over 14,000 radio stations. The multimedia radio comes with UPnP media sharing and is thus perfectly equipped as a network player that communicates with e.g. Windows Media Player - so you can play music from your computer on the ICD2018.

Of course, this device also has a Bluetooth function. So you can connect both your smartphone and your tablet to this Soundmaster to stream your favourite music.

In addition to Internet radio, the device also receives DAB+ and FM-RDS radio programmes. For quick access to your favourite stations, you can store 20 of your favourite stations per reception mode (Internet radio, DAB+ and FM) on preset stations.

Of course, the ICD2018 also plays CDs and MP3 CDs. You can also use a USB stick hidden in plain sight on the back of the unit.

As a special highlight, you can also use this device with your Spotify account. However, this requires a Spotify premium account.

The integrated preset equaliser enables frequency settings that are perfectly tuned to the music genre, which are impressively reproduced via the integrated speaker system with an output of an incredible 80 watts RMS. This is a 2.1 speaker system with a subwoofer.

With the remote control you keep control over the numerous functions of the Soundmaster Eliteline ICD2018, which is even equipped with a dual alarm incl. sleep and snooze function (fall asleep and snooze function), which is not a matter of course in this device class. Those who do not want to use the remote control can also control this device via an APP (Undok App) from their smartphone or tablet. Also integrated is a MultiRoom solution from the company Frontier Silicon. This allows different devices that use the same technical solution to be networked with each other.
